We believe in a holistic development of each child and thereby grooming and identifying every individual's true potential.

The school follows the CBSE curriculum. We provide a well planned academic programme designed to meet the needs of our students. Our comprehensive curriculum aims at providing a strong academic foundation, social skills and the required confidence in order to transit to responsible individuals. Regular workshops on Lifeskills, Adaptive Fitness, Health and Nutrition are a part of the curriculum.

Our Smart Board enabled classes bring the world into the classroom. Access to state of the art infrastructure in the Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Laboratories provide a complete teaching-learning experience. Students are encouraged to think for themselves such that they are well prepared to attempt assessments, tests and examinations. Periodic assessments are held for Classes Nursery to II so that the children have a stress free and non threatening learning experience. Examinations are held from Class III onwards to prepare the students and bring them at par with their peers.

Counselling

The counselling services promote the holistic development of students by providing on-going prevention and intervention facilities and by offering them personal sessions. The school provides In-house Counseling services to assist children with their studies, provide career counselling and also help them with their personal issues. The counsellor works rigorously towards understanding the hopes, aspirations and dreams of students. Special sessions for parents and teachers are also organized to discuss behavioral, academic, and other problems of the students.

Career Guidance

Guidance and Counselling is a need for the students at every stage of school life.

The school provides the facility of Career Guidance in order to enable the students to make right career choices. The aim is to help young students to explore the opportunities open to them and make purposeful steps towards their future. Regular sessions are conducted by the teachers, invited guest speakers and career experts in order to update and guide the students. Students also visit different universities and career fairs to gain understanding of different careers.

Community Programme

Orientation Program

In order to apprise the new parents about the DPIS academic system, an orientation program is held in the school library every year. The Principal and the Coordinator addresse the gathering and brief about the curricular and co-curricular activities to be held in the current academic session. Various security procedures being followed by the school to ensure the safety of children in the school premises are also discussed. Parents are also apprised about the school mobile app and GPS tracking system.

Parent School Programs

• Regular PTMs are organized in order to discuss the progress of the students with the parents.
• Apart from PTMs, the school has a strong system of communication in the form of school App, using which the parents can communicate for their complaints and feedback.
